My client who is a developer is looking for a partner who will invest 100% to purchase and redevelop the shipping port in return for majority ownership.

Potential developments for this project include:
• Expansion of Port to a deep water Port to accommodate cruise ships and mega yachts
The shipping port has a duty free zone classification and in 1988 exported a record of 2.6 million cartons of grapefruit to the Far East. The handling capacity of the port is 300,000 tons of cargo per year. It is currently operational and cash flowing.
Adjacent ammenities:
1. A railway which serves on site transportation of cargo
2. An airport which facilitates cargo planes(Developer has the legal and government connections to acquire this airport if investor wishes to add to their portfolio)
Beyond this initial investment, there is the potential to redevelop and revitalise approximately 1,000 surrounding acres should there be an interest in doing so.
This an especially attractive opportunity for Asian Markets, as this location provides an excellent distribution point with access to all the supporting distribution channels i.e. the airport and railway.
The successful investor/partner must:
• Have the capacity for $100M
• Be able to clear homeland security background checks due to the potential
security issues associated with the location of this property.
• Be able to foster and maintain a good working relationship with the existing
real estate developer/partner.
We would first like to identify interested parties, who can then come to the table for an initial consultation. The potential investor would then have to be cleared by homeland security and once cleared we can then proceed to negotiate further details.
