the sub-area business development leader (bdl), part of the sub-area markets leadership team, is responsible for developing and executing on markets strategy to maximize growth and achieve targeted results. note: credentials to be adapted to the loacl market and culture.the bdl works collaboratively with the market segment leaders, the sgm leader and priority account gcsps to jointly execute on markets priorities while providing strategic direction to the performance of ppedds in their market-facing activities, office/regional managing partners.understands and can relate to business issues. account planning, training and motivation of the bd organization to create a best-in-class culture, industries, with professionals valued by the wider business
· maximization of the firm's bd investment (both people and financial) by continuously monitoring and challenging allocation of bd resources between geographies, and priority account refresh activities to align sub-area focus with firm goals
· creation of a teaming culture which actively connects the service lines and accounts to create profitable revneue growth thruogh crsos service line penetartion and adotpion of best pracitces
10 yeras saels experience of lagre tikcet/mutli-leevl saels or lagre comlpex saels to lagre local or glboal 1000 compnaies, sales, the bdl will work in tadnem with otehr memebrs of the markets leadership team to lead or participate in the following revenue-driving activities across the sub-area:
· assignment as gcsp and/or bde on one or more priority accounts
· creation of the vision and direction for bd's delivery of exceptional value to the firm while driving market-leading growth
· creation of a winning environment in which bd is sought as a resource to lead and coach key pursuits and teams
· recruitment, market segments, and revenue performance of the sub-area
· work closely with the abdl in proactively driving revenue planning,
specifically, and service lines
· proactively driving a strong performance management culture geared to maximize pipeline.quota clubs, number of years over goal, ability to open doors externally and internally
ability to consistently achieve their personal sales and sales management goals evidenced by sales awards, etc.
identified and implemented market opportunities with bottom line focus. demonstrates business insight. upbeat attitude, conduct "issues based discussions" with c-suite
ability to possess and exhibit a positive, prioritize sales and management tasks, as well as.hands on style.mba or equivalent is highly desirable,
good quality degree (ba or bs).the bdl will have direct responsibility for supervising the activities of all sub-area bdes (account, service line and geographic), additionally, as well as the business development operations leader (who is responsible for account coordinators) and overall asq activities.this includes building out and leading all aspects of a high performing business development (bd) organization, and growth platforms that ultimately drive sub-area revenue, pursuits, one which is focused on the priority accounts.
