as a customer facing role, the evangelist job is to consult with customers and help identify the storage solution and architecture that meets business or mission needs. our field sales force,
• strong busniess acumen understanding of data management practices and storage infrastructure
• abiilty to work well with customers, marketing teams, engineering and channel partners.confident and credible,
• must be fearless.
• strong sklils in excel and word. the evaneglist is equally able to speak at a cxo level as well as going deep technically with storage administrators and architects.
• strong technical capacity to understand usd products.
central to the evangelist role is the ability to be enthusiastic about usds products and technologies. exceptional skills in powerpoint.
the evangelist also acts as an embedded product management and marketing resources and gives input to mrds and prds. director of world wide evangelism. mba and/or engineering background preferred.
• proven track record in customer facing sales and/or marketing.
• wlingness to travel extensively.
the evangelist is a lifetime learner.
the evangelist role reports to the sr. the role is focused on communicating the benefits of storage products and technologies as they relate to the customer’s situation.
• understanding of and experience with direct sales and channel sales coverage models.
the evangelist not only knows how the product or feature works, but how it drives vaule for the customer.
•bachelor’s degree in marketing, engineering or equivalent experience.
