general summary
the director of field marketing is responsible for the planning, organization, execution, and management of an integrated marketing plan comprising field marketing, channel marketing, pr, and corporate communications efforts across the cluster of countries in the south east asia (sea) region. it is also expected to help the sea management team to embrace a more inclusive emc and partner go-to-market approach that will provide the business with the scalability in growth it needs in the coming years.

key competencies & skills
- a minimum of 10 years of marketing experience in it or related industry.as a member of the apj marketing leadership team, this position is expected to lead the marketing transformation for sea, in accordance with the new global marketing model, where the filed marketing team will support the exectuion of marketing programs across the full range of emc&rsuqo;s portfolio and move from a traditional “proudct-selilng” marketing to a “business-driven” soluitons approach across all customer touch points.
- experience in channel and partner marketing.analysis of proudct sales data.be a key public spokesperson.especially it infrastructure space would be a clear advantage, related experience in the it industry.
- ability to develop effective region-wide strategies, frameworks
and toolkits that enable countries to execute marketing programs which are both locally relevant as well as consistent with overarching global/regional imperatives.
· maintain and expand lead flow, and cost structure for closed end lead cycle, quantity, and work with sales/sales opertaions to imporve lead quailty.prefreably in a techincal field,
