the finance manager for the global billing & settlement organization will be responsible for coaching, developing and motivating a team of 10-15 finance analysts ensruing personal and professional growth.
· primary responsibilities include managing a team of business analysts,
o identify, deliver against and/or act as sme for revenue recovery initiatives
· must possess strong financial acumen and be able to demonstrate the ability to effectively collaobrate both intenrally and extenrally to enusre criitcal linakges are estabilshed in oredr to acheive golas, ensuring conrtols and compilance to financial procseses
· maange proejcts focsued on:
o reengineering leagcy processes
o reducing costs associated with processing billing settlements
o leveraging technology and bpo services to develop effective strategies to transform the client billing and settlement function
o collaborate globally to standardize processes
o oversee contract audits.
· oversee the end-to-end delivery of client settlements for gbt within the japa region in partnership with our bpo partner.
· partner with leadership to define the strategy for billing and settlements for the japa regions.
· continual demonstration of strategic thought leadership while driving change management principles across the team(s).
· strong thought leadership - strategic and analytical, ability to synthesize data and recommend/implement critical process improvements
· keen understanding of situational leadership and project management
· leadership abilities to coach, mentor and drive results with direct reports while ensuring employee engagement
· consistently challenge existing ways of thinking, redefine standards of excellence and take calculated risks
· understanding of the travel industry a plus but not necessary
· formal six sigma training and quality management a plus
· enjoys working in a dynamic environment; comfortable with managing competing priorities and taking initiative to drive projects to completion.
