asisst director of catering in deveolping and executing strategic plans
function as a business partner with all areas of the hotel that are impacted by the catering department
represent the hotel in business evnets
able to assist catering/ banquet department meets budgeted levels through proper revenue management strategies
able to assist in creating and executing annual business plans, practices and equipment in audio visual through trade literature, you'll have some or all of the following things we're looking for:
diploma holder with at least 3 years of relevant experience
fluent in written and spoken english and chinese
service-oriented with strong desire in achieving total customer and staff satisfactions

job responsibilities
manages all functions of the confreence and banquet operations to achieve the optimum departmental revenue targets
conducts saels visits, sends emails and extends invitations to clients to visit the hotel
analyses historical and other statistical inforamtion
entertain clients with the objetcive to seucre business or stregnthen ties when reqiured
negoitate temrs pertnient to the sale of confreence and banqeuting serivces
conudct site inspetcions and tour familiairzations
montior compteitor actiivties and use information when developing strategies
assist in the co-ordiantion of conference sales/promoitonal events and actiivties
liiase with reseravtions for space allocation and priority
conducts daily briefings and other meetings as needed to obtain optimal results
handles administrative works
solicits business and follow up on referrals and potential sales leads
